– It will be great fun. We will market validate innovations by Indian entrepreneurs, explains Marie Amann.
In four weeks, Isak Lejon, Paulina Sawicki, Niklas Engberg, Alexander Bergström, Lovisa Ingvarsson and Marie Amann will fly to the United States's second largest state, Texas. Then the journey continues to Delhi in northern India. The summer practice they received in scholarships means learning to market-validate innovations, which are then put into practice in the American, Indian and Swedish markets. – Just to test how the same ideas can create different values in different markets with different cultures is what makes it so exciting and educational. This form of scholarship will be awarded once a year in the next few years, says Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn, rektor vid Luleå tekniska universitet.
The practice takes place between 3 June and 20 July and includes work in place at all three destinations, Austin, Delhi and Luleå, and is organized in collaboration with LTU Business, IC2 Institute in Austin, Texas and Rune Andersson's Anniversary Foundation. Travel expenses and salary at the same level as CSN are funded by Rune Andersson's Jubilee Foundation.
– This is a student exchange between the IC2 Institute in Austin, Texas and Luleå University of Technology. The American students who attend the internship will accompany Luleå when the students do their last week here, says Pär Johansson, LTU Business.
And the enthusiasm for the layout is not only great among the students:
– We have already begun discussing the structure for next year's scholarship, says Pär Johansson.
