This year's contributions were of very high quality, with innovative solutions often focusing on sustainability or safety. Apps, sensors and inventions were presented in a very professional way.
"It's fantastic to see all this creativity and inventive ideas", says Lars Stehn, Professor in Construction Management and Building Technology at Luleå University of Technology
As some of the contributions presented today may be announced for continued competition in, for example, the Venture Cup, we will not describe the innovations at this year's competition in detail.
"In the past, we have had contributions that have become real products out in the market," says Jarkko Erikshammar, Adjunct University Lecturer at Luleå University of Technology.
The innovation contest The Dragon Nest is part of the course Industrial Construction and this year's jury consisted of two representatives from BoKlok - Jerker Lessing, Head of Research and Development, and Head of Sweden Sara Ernman. Lisa Mujagic represented LTU Business, Lars Stehn and Jarkko Erikshammar, Luleå University of Technology. Erik Söderholm represented Improvicon AB.
