A noble day for research

Published: 26 September 2019

For the third time, the Noble Day will be celebrated. It is the Department of Health Sciences that organizes a day of lectures and presentations to which all who are interested in current research in the health field are welcome.
– Fredrik Nikolajeff, a newly appointed professor of medical science, presents the new topic of medical technology, says Katarina Leijon-Sundqvist, who is part of the project group.

Preparations are now underway in full for this year's Nobla Day, which will be held on December 10 in Aula Aurora.

The current research and science will be presented.

– There will for eample be short presentations of doctoral students in health sciences, says Åsa, Engström, professor of nursing.

In addition, those who have been granted funding from SFIO Health will present what the project funds have resulted in.

In the evening there will be a party with food, mingle and entertainment.

The first Noble Day was held in 2017 and since then it has been conducted every year. In the past, some external lecturers have been invited, but this year there will be entirely locally-produced research in the spirit of sustainability. In addition to Åsa Engström, the project team that handles the planning of the day also includes Katarina Leijon-Sundqvist, Silje Gustafsson, Irene Vikman, Camilla Lindqvist and Maria Jansson.
