The purpose of the project is to investigate how entrepreneurs in the Natural Resource Industry can cooperate with public care in order for people with ill health, disability, long-term sick leave or both to be able to receive support for rehabilitation and return to working life.
– The vision is sustainable solutions for both parties, so that entrepreneurs in the Natural Resource Industry with their knowledge and expertise can act as a resource in the region and that public care can offer nature-supported rehabilitation to promote health and prevent ill-health, says Päivi Juuso, senior lecturer and project manager at Luleå University of Technology, LTU.
The aim of the workshop was that entrepreneurs and actors from public care would have the possibility to discuss opportunities and obstacles to collaboration. Participants made representatives from small and medium-sized companies in Norrbotten and Västerbotten as well as public activities.
During the autumn, further workshops will be held, including discussions on, among other things, service design, such as planning and organizing a service based on the customer's needs. At the same time, the talks should be about what services the public sector needs.
