Vetenskapens hus was almost full when Birgitta Bergvall Kåreborn, Vice- Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor Cathrine Norberg handed out diplomas and flowers to employees who during the past year have promoted knowledge development, pedagogy and education.

New award for efforts within Professional Services

Luleå University of Technology's new award for development initiatives within Professional Services goes to Sofi Waltare for her digital development work in the HR area. Alexandra Lind, Margareta Bäckström Lindgren and Hanna Blomster receive an honorable mention for the Researcher Web.

They have been appointed Distinguished University Teachers

At the end of September, the first Distinguished University Teachers and qualified teachers at Luleå University of Technology were appointed. A total of 18 people have been awarded the awards. The teachers have had the opportunity to make an application and then it is the Vice-Chancellor who has made the decision. Two of those who have received an appointment are Susanne Westman and Erik Elfgren.
