Scientific award of Nordea, 2020

Nordea's Northern Foundation established in 2006 a scientific prize for research at Luleå University of Technology. The prize is awarded to researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the promotion of scientific research and development in areas that are likely to be relevant to the Bank's activities.

The prize winner is appointed by a committee consisting of the principal, dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Philosophy and the head of office at Nordea's office in Luleå, also chairman.

The prize money of SEK 100,000 is awarded in connection with the academic feast.

Prefects are hereby offered to nominate a prize winner to Nordea's scientific prize. The nomination must include a short motivation (max 1 page) describing the researcher's scientific production, the structure of research groups and supervision efforts. CV including publication list must be attached.
