AI4Pedagogy
Unlocking the Future of Education with AI - Artificial Intelligence is transforming education by making learning more personalized, accessible, and engaging. From adaptive study tools to automated feedback, AI empowers teachers to focus on creativity and critical thinking while helping students learn at their own pace. Embrace smarter education, where technology amplifies human potential.
Welcome to the AI4EDU Research Group, where we are developing the next generation of educational technology platforms by operating at the thrilling frontier of AI and human learning. At LTU, our research focus is two-fold:
1. Empowering teachers with digitalization and AI-assisted tools, not by replacing teachers, but by amplifying their impact.
2. Helping the students learn more deeply, more equitably, and more efficiently through AI tools that motivate engagement, support sustained learning, and cultivate the ability to work independently in each student’s field of competence.
We are driven by a commitment to research Excellence, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver Impact through evidence-based AI solutions that revolutionize teaching efficiency and personalize learning for every student. Crucially, our work is anchored in Ethics & Responsibility, ensuring every innovation we create is equitable, safe, and promotes a beneficial future for Human-AI collaboration in the classroom.
How to Get Involved
We are always looking for collaborators passionate about AI for education. Whether you're an academic, a data scientist, an industry leader, or a stakeholder, your contributions can help push the boundaries of eco-friendly AI.
Collaboration Opportunities
Research Partnerships: Join forces with our research team to co-develop Conversational GenAI models and contribute to publications in leading academic journals and conferences.

Computation Resources
LTU’s technological infrastructure is among Europe’s powerful for academic AI research:
Lotty Bruzelius Machine Learning Cluster — 6 DGX servers and state‑of‑the‑art NVIDIA H100 GPUs provide exceptional capacity for large‑scale AI training and experimentation.
Seamless access to Sweden’s Berzelius supercomputing cluster (one of Europe’s largest HPC resources) through the WASP consortium further amplifies LTU’s computational capabilities, enabling high‑impact research and rapid prototyping.
Ethics & Responsibility
Our research is fundamentally anchored in the core principle that the Protection Interest, the welfare and rights of all involved, must be prioritized. This commitment ensures that our development and deployment of educational AI strictly adheres to the ethical, legal, and social standards set forth by key regulatory frameworks, including the Swedish Higher Education Ordinance (Högskoleförordningen) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By aligning with these requirements, we guarantee high standards of Reliability, Honesty, and Accountability in all our processes, securing both academic integrity and the personal data of our participants
