Digital payment solution won the Idea Accelerator for students

The new digital payment solution Jubo won the final in the Idea Accelerator together with 10000 SEK in consultant checks. In total, seven participant teams presented their final projects on Friday in the LTU Business summer job program.

"We have come quite a long way, we have run some tests and achieved quite good results with our product. As it looks now, we will expand the tests this autumn to see if we can get even better results, "says Niklas Axenholm, a project manager behind Jubo, the digital payment solution.

LTU Business who runs the program held the final with the student presentations in Luleå Science Park. The idea behind is to work with you business idea as a summer job and work with something that you are really passionate about.

- We have many applicants for the program. It is a very attractive offer because the students are allowed to work with their passion all summer, "says Johan Bergström, business developer at LTU Business.

Amongst the ideas that have been developed, there is a new sneaker concept, a digital information system, certification for reduced animal suffering in research, a safer digital meeting place for young people, a new source sorting solution and a fire detection system.

The basic idea of ​​the Idea Accelerator is that LTU students will be helped to find out if their ideas are feasible during a summer. The program is a regional development project funded by Luleå University of Technology, the Längman Business Foundation, Sparbanken Nord, Norrbotten Region and the Arctic Business Incubator.
