Published: 17 February 2017

It will be even easier for the region's businesses to grow and increase their competitiveness. This is the opinion of the business development company LTU Business AB and Luleå University of Technology who now launches LTU Business Tour 2017 and want to meet more entrepreneurs in the region.

– We see the positive effect and growth created when companies collaborate with the university and therefore we want to reach more entrepreneurs. We will visit all municipalities in northern Sweden and Skellefteå and Norsjö during the year. We want to hear what the needs are and discuss solutions that create competitive and innovative companies, says Lars-Åke Isaksson, business developer at LTU Business AB and business contacts for the university.

While LTU Business embarks on the road to drop along with the university a package of services. Companies receive for the first time full access to Department of Business and the University of innovation that today ranks as one of the leading innovation agency Vinnova.

In addition, it also launched a student assignment Summer consultants, which gives companies the opportunity to develop their company over the summer with the help of students. A new web platform will be launched to make it easier for companies to register for student assignments. With Demola companies can solve specific problems in their companies and the so-called Competence contract, companies the opportunity to point mark certain university programs to recruit talent.

– Business development is a strategically important issue but often it ends up in the shadows of everyday operational work. There we can really help to create a safe breeding ground that allows the operator to get more money in your pocket, says Conny Hökfors, business area manager.
