LTU Business receives major order from the EU raw materials sector

LTU Business AB has been given the task of developing the innovative capabilities of nine of Europe's leading raw material consortia led by globally recognized players such as Atlas Copco, DMT, GTK, Terrafame, Luleå University of Technology, Uppsala University and Swerea in an order worth about SEK 5 million.

– It is gratifying that our own methodology Innovation Due Diligence weighs so heavily in the competition among the established alternatives in Europe, said Pär Johansson, Innovation Director at LTU Business AB.

For three years, LTU Business AB will map the market potential of nine new products and services developed in the EU's largest innovation initiative for the raw material sector, EIT RawMaterials. In total, 79 applications were submitted, LTU Business was included in 17 of them and was commissioned to investigate market potential in 9 innovations.

– This is a receipt for us that we are based on knowledge that strengthens international groups and our local businesses located in the region, our ambition is to be one of the country's best business development companies in innovation management and this is a major step forward, said Pär Johansson, Innovation Director at LTU Business AB.
