A group of engineering students in Industrial Management who read their sixth semester, the task: "How should the company AB develops and what this require of networking players." Students will themselves, after gathering information about the company's history and current situation, problematize up the challenge that the group should work with and then address the issue as a consultant work.
What results can you, as a company, expect:
The company will make proposals on the challenges you should focus on, and how these challenges can be resolved and a proposal on implementation of the improvement measures. Final delivery is a written report and an oral presentation at the company if desired. Through participation in this course you get fresh eyes on the company's development and future opportunities.
Guidelines for a cooperation:
A few companies and organizations each year have the opportunity to participate in the course, and cooperation begins with a visit from the entire student group. This group will then be divided into groups of four to five students per group, each group works with a specific challenge. At the first visit, which normally is a half to a full day, you will have to present your company history and your current position since the students together with their supervisors at the university to work out a problem that the working group will then take on.
In some cases, and for some teams it can then be considered for more visits to the enterprise of gathering information.
The finish is, as mentioned above, a written report and an oral presentation of each working group.
What is required of you as a company:
An openness for which the exact issues the student groups will work with and openness in sharing information and time for such a valuable result as possible.
