Luleå University of Technology celebrates 50 years with an anniversary concert

Luleå University of Technology invites the public to an anniversary concert in Kulturens hus in Luleå on 11 November 2021. There, a work specially written by composer Jan Sandström for the University's 50th anniversary will be performed for the first time. The audience will also experience a unique digital organ work, in which the University organ and an organ in Amsterdam are played at the same time. The master of ceremonies is court singer Birgitta Svendén, honorary doctor at Luleå University of Technology and CEO of the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm.

The TCP / Indeterminate Space Quartet, with four members from GEMM (Gesture, Embodiment and Machines in Music), was awarded this year's Best Music Award at the International Conference for New Interfaces for Musical Expression in Shanghai, June 2021.
