Measuring the Cognition, Physiology and Neurophysiology of Designing

Design theories and methods as well as educational interventions are either tested by the outcomes they produce or are not tested before claims are made about them. Recent advances in cognitive, physiological and neurophysiological measurements, coupled with a reduction in the cost of measurement equipment, have made it possible to explore the behavior of the mind, the body and the brain while designing and to test claims about theories, methods and education.
