20 years have passed since the Harads Born Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck left Norrbotten for jobs and academic career, most recently as a researcher at Linköping University, and she is experiencing great changes both at Luleå University and the region.
- It really boils and bustling with activities both in the research environments, within LTU Business Development and what I had time to see of the student projects. Nowadays, the Norrbotten is a real growth region.
Has worked with small businesses
In recent years, Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäcks research in product innovation mainly focused on small and medium enterprises in Östergötland and Småland, where she strengthened the local economy interaction with students and researchers. A work that she wants to continue on the LTU.
- The intention is to continue to cooperate with my research group at Linköping University. I am also very impressed with the skills that are already here on the subject, and will be keen to see it igrow, says Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck.
Got an offer she could not refuse
- Me and the family has become rooted in the countryside midway between Linköping and Åtvidaberg where we lived for 17 years, but when I got the chance to develop the topic of product innovation in my home region, with the nice environment Luleå University can offer, it was " an offer that was impossible to turn down, "as they say.
