Research
My background is in Industrial Design Engineering with a specialisation in production design. I am doing my Ph.D. in Human Work Science, where my research focus is on how the mining industry (and other heavy industries) work with work environmental issues through technological and organizational change.
Teaching
I teach and supervise students in courses on workplace analysis, industrial production environments, product and production design, and advanced production design, in the Industrial Design Engineering programme. I also advise students on their Master’s theses.
Blog
I have a blog where I actively try to share interesting aspects of my work: http://joelloow.se/en
