Course continued winner

One hundred students has given two hundred hours each and has now presented their development ideas for Sorsele municipality. The "Integration Course"at Luleå University of Technology continues its success story.

The students' assignment was to help municipal entrepreneurs to develop and come up with new ideas. The project is a collaboration between Luleå University of Technology and Sorsele municipality which falls within the successful courses Integration Project Business Administration and Integration Projects business administration, logistics & quality and once again have the students' proposal was well received by the client.

- The oral presentations that we had to take to us has been really exciting. The work so far, I think has worked very well and we have had a good dialogue with the course and feel that the students have received the feedback that they had regarding their issues, says Elin Bergarp, growth manager in Sorsele municipality.

Positive reactions

Last, the students visited Sorsele municipality was in November 2013, but already in the beginning of January 2014, it was time for the students to present the top 20 ideas in the form of business plans, which they developed for the entrepreneurs. For the students, they now have to take hold of the new the experience and knowledge of the course given.

- I hope and believe that it brought some kind of entrepreneurial spirit within ourselfs. To design and operate their own business I think is incredibly rewarding. This course gave us a better insight to what it takes to start your own business step by step. To present something is always a bit nervous but it was really fun to present what we had accomplished during the course. Especially because we really believe in our idea! says Emil Cederlund, a student at Luleå University of Technology.
