– Getting this prize feels very fun and inspiring for the future. It feels extra fun to get a prize that is handed out by the students, because that means they appreciate what they do, says Magnus Stenberg.
Magnus Stenberg has worked at the university for 28 years and has during all these years taught at the program Technical Design.
– Technical design is a good program that keeps high quality, so it is fun to teach here. We have talented students and we see that they are sought after in the labor market, he says.
In addition to teaching, Magnus Stenberg has researched a great deal with focus on production and production development in small and medium-sized companies. He has also worked extensively on the construction industry regarding health and safety.
– There is a lot going on in the industry and we have to make sure that we prepare the students for the situation that prevails when they come out to work. There we have a challenge to follow in the development of the teaching, in step with the digitization in the industry. But there I think we are good at. We try to link teaching to research and in this way the education is kept updated, he says.
