Top talent selected in tough competition

Isabella Holmberg, a fourth-year student of the Master Programme in Industrial and Management Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, and will represent the university during a two week trip to China in August.

Nova – The global top talent network and the Explore China program received 777 applications from Swedish students, but only 16 were chosen. Isabella Holmberg is one of them.

– The Explore China program was initiated by Carl Pei, co-founder of the mobile company OnePlus. We will travel on August 20th. We will visit Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai and companies like One Plus, Didi Chuxing (China's equivalent to Uber), Tantan (China's equivalent to Tinder) and Mobike (station-free bikes). The purpose of the trip is to gain inspiration and increased knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation from both world-leading companies and local entrepreneurs.
