Gunvor Gard, professor of physical therapy, has written two chapters of the book Man in the workplace.
– The book is a basic book that describes all aspects of how people function in the workplace.

The special feature of the book is that there are chapters on health promotion in the workplace, skills that did not exist in previous textbooks.
As Gunvor Gard has done research in these areas since 1990 ble she was asked by the editor Eva Holmström to write two chapters. The result was Chapters Health Promotion from a psychosocial perspective and Ergonomics - a systematic review.

The book highlights the conditions of working life and the circumstances associated with work-related problems of various kinds.

Gunvor is working as a professor of ergonomics and psychosocial research in the working life and health promotion interventions in the workplace and for young people. She also works with interventions to increase physical activity and with clinical studies promote health and working capacity for different patient groups. Gunvor is like the other authors a specialists with long experience within their subjects.

The book is aimed for people who operate in the field of health promotion, prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and psychosomatic injuries and rehabilitation.
