Future in focus at physiotherapy conference

Published: 29 November 2018

To create a physiotherapy education of high quality was the theme of a recent conference at Luleå University of Technology. The conference attracted teachers and students in physiotherapy from all over Sweden.

– The purpose of the conference is to discuss issues common to all physiotherapist programs,  to learn from each other, to find collaborations and to work with the quality of the education, says Tommy Calner, teacher at the Physiotherapy Programme at Luleå University of Technology.

The conference is held every other year at one of the eight Swedish universities offering an physiotherapy education. It was eleven years since the conference was arranged in Luleå.

– We are proud that we hosted the conference this year and the rewarding days that teachers and students contributed to. We received positive feedback from both teachers and students regarding lecturers and workshops, so it feels fun, concludes Tommy Calner.
