In Sports Gala on January 14 Pia Sundhage was awarded Year of coach 2012th A week before that, she was awarded the World´s best women soccer coach at FIFA gala in Zurich. Now we can reveal that Pia Sundhage is visiting Luleå University of Technology March 20, at a Public lecture - about just her leadership.

- This is so great, and exciting. Pia Sundhage does not know in advance exactly how her lecture will be posted. It is based on spontaneity. What happens, happens there and then, says Soy Lundqvist, Head of Popular Science with the Open lectures at Luleå University of Technology

That the world famous Pia Sundhage says yes Luleå University of Technology in these busy days has a lot to do with a certain professor. When Yelverton Tegner, professor of medical science at Luleå University of Technology, as well as team physician for Lulea Hockey, just some months ago, said yes to also be a doctor for the national team in women's football in Sweden, he did so "on one condition"-that Pia Sundhage would visit Luleå University of Technology and give a lecture, about her leadership. She said  yes, and thus there were yes from both sides.

Pia Sundhages lecture at Luleå University of Technology is titled Play the best foot - to lead with joy. She claims that football is the world's most fun sport and it's up to the goal that is worthwhile. A positive leadership and to protect the diversity and daring are some building blocks of leadership.

In five years, Pia Sundhage was captained the women's team in soccer in the United States. She took the team to two Olympic gold and a World Cup final. She is now back in Sweden to bring national team in women's football to European Championship gold at home the 2013th .

When Pia Sundhage January 7 won the title of year's best coaches in women's football in the world in the FIFA Gala in Zurich, she won the more people's hearts through her speech in the form of a spontaneous, confident but humble song of Bob Dylan's If Not for You.

The Open Before reading with Pia Sundhage will be held March 20 at 19:00 House of Culture, Small Hall. No pre-announcement.
