Swedish-Indian cooperation on natural remedies

As part of a collaborative research on natural remedies visit two Indian scientists Luleå University in early June. They are Sanjay Singh, a professor of pharmacology and graduate student Kumar Singh from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi).

During the visit at the Department of Health will Sanjay Singh to hold a seminar on aurveda, the traditional Indian medical science and its importance to the Indian health system.

In mid-May traveling Sitaram Velaga, professor of pharmacology, and graduate student Hamzah Ahmed from Luleå University Varanasi to discuss research projects and learn about new methods for making nanoparticles.

The research collaboration between Luleå University of Technology and the Indian Institute of Technology, funded by the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT).
