Research

My research interests include: relations, identity and diversity in education, participation and civic engagement among children and youth, the relationship between spatial formations and humans, and philosophical and existential dimensions of education.

I have successfully secured several research projects in national and international competitive funding, and also received several national and international awards. Examples of research pojects are:

  • The physical room's importance in learning (CES VR)
  • Arctic Children I & II (Kolarktik, EU)

  • The University's student environment - the relationship between people and the university's spatial conformation (Akademiska Hus & LTU)

Together with Carl-Anders Säfström, Sharon Todd and Moira von Wright, I'm responsible for the Graduate School of Philosophical Studies of Pedagogical Relations.
