New Vinnova project SECURE granted
"SECURE - StormwatEr planning for inCreased Urban REsilience" is the latest project approved by Vinnova within the "Climate adaptation in the built environment" call. It is a 2-year research project carried out in collaboration with Tyréns, StormTac, Stockholm Water and Waste, the Swedish Transport Administration, and Swedish Water.
The purpose of SECURE is to contribute to new stormwater solutions with smart design which will be developed based on the needs of the participating municipalities and the Swedish Transport Administration and in collaboration with actors from the entire value chain. The project also aims at advancing in-depth knowledge for further development of working methods and existing planning and analysis tools that reduce the effects of climate change on our built environment, both nationally and internationally.
