Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

The combination of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry allow complex sample mixtures to be analysed. Different system configurations are made for specific compound categories. The current setup is optimal for protein/peptide identification and quantification.

Eksigent ekspert™ UHPLC System

The AB SCIEX ekspert™ ultraLC system are designed to deliver gradients at high back pressures (up to 18,000 psi at flow rates up to 5.0 mL/min). With the autosampler, samples are introduce efficiently and separated on small particle sized columns. Finally the flow of separated compounds is introduced to the MS by the Turbo V™ source for identification/quantification.

3200 QTRAP® MS/MS System

The AB SCIEX 3200 QTRAP® MS/MS System is a high sensitivity, bench top hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap mass spectrometer designed for LC/MS/MS analyses. This instrument provides a combination of linear ion trap and triple quadrupole functionality, uniquely allowing both qualitative and quantitative analyses to be carried out in a single experiment. This instrument provides excellent robustness and long term stability for the most demanding assays.
