Mini Course: Fire Engineer
Some 20 high school students from all over Sweden today visited the LTU and the rescue training area on Hertsön in Luleå.
The Fire Engineering Programme is offered only at two locations in Sweden as the geographic mix among the students give a special affinity, testified representatives from the Student Association BRINN. - This was very rewarding said a student from Stockholm when she summed up the day.
Master of Science in fire technology has broad expertise that gives them many potential employers and jobs. About 20 from each cohort tend to read the additional years required for carrying out operational civil protection such as team leader in fires or accidents. Others go for private employers in such planning.
