Workshop on frost damaged roads
In Sweden there are several thousands of miles of smaller roads which form a very important part of society´s communication system.
Regardless if the road is paved with asphalt or gravel the strong freezing and thawing affect the function of the roads.
Participants
The workshop was attended by employees of The Swedish Transport Administration who had worked with reinforcements and those who participated Transport Agency project "reinforcement for frost damaged roads".
There were also representatives from the Luleå University of Technology (LTU) and The National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI).
