In the media: New maintenance method can extend the life of the rails

The new track maintenance method called ReRail wiht been developed in collaboration with the Railway Technology Centre and the Luleå University of Technology. The idea is simple. The tread is the part of the rail, which is worn by the train wheels. When the surface is worn out, replaced the tread of a steel rail.
