New book: Soil Mechanics
Release party at Luleå University of Technology regarding Hans Mattsson's and Kennet Axelssons new book Soil Mechanics.
Soil Mechanics treat soil materials mechanical and technological characteristics, skills that are relevant to the execution of a secure and stable foundations of buildings and facilities. The subject draws on Quaternary geology, ie the loose soils geology, as well as the mechanics of all, when the deformable solid body mechanics.

Hans Mattsson is Professor in Soil Mechanics at Luleå University of Technology. The authors have extensive experience in teaching and research in geotechnical engineering.
Kennet Axelsson is a former Professor in Soil Mechanics at Luleå University and at the School of Engineering and Professor Emeritus at Uppsala University.
