Electrolytes from renewable resources is a step ahead towards sustainable batteries

Associate Professor Faiz Ullah Shah, Chemistry of Interfaces, has received a research grant of 4 MSEK for the next four years from the Swedish Research Council Formas.
The project aim is to develop fluorine-free ionic liquids-based electrolytes from renewable resources for next-generation batteries. This project will be carried in collaboration with Professor Patrik Johansson from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
