Collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration
Several researchers at the Division of Industrialized and Sustainable Construction have participated in ProcSIBE's annual results seminar together with the Swedish Transport Administration, which was held on 21 October. Due to Covid-19, the seminar had to be held via zoom with approximately 35 invited people participating.
The 12 research projects that were presented and discussed during the seminar included a number of different themes such as collaboration, management control, innovation and sustainable development.
"Our annual results seminar plays a vital role in the long and successful collaboration between ProcSIBE and the Swedish Transport Administration", says Per Erik Eriksson, professor at Industrialized and Sustainable Construction and responsible for ProcSIBE's research program together with the Swedish Transport Administration.
To increase the implementation possibilities of the research results, the researchers presented a large amount of valuable lessons learned and explicit recommendations to the Swedish Transport Administration. These lessons learned and recommendations contributed to the rewarding and lively discussions that took place throughout the day, both orally after each presentation and in parallel in the zoom chat.
"This seminar is a part of facilitating development in the construction industry, by developing and implementing research-based knowledge," says Per Erik Eriksson.
