Indian Ambassador visited AI Factory
The Indian Ambassador Tanmaya Lal has visited AI Factory, at Luleå University of Technology.
"We presented our business, and also representatives from the department of operation, maintenance technology and Acoustics as well as the Luleå Railway research center, JVTC and the research subject Entrepreneurship and Innovation participated", says Ramin Karim, professor in operation and maintenance technology.
He and Uday Kumar, professor of operations and maintenance technology, think it was a rewarding visit.
"It is a good way to make contacts with the government in India and industries there", they say.
In the laboratory
They say that the visit took place at very short notice.
"We received the ambassador here in our lab".
Hosts for the visit were Rector Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn and Professor Uday Kumar.
In addition to the various presentations, Ambassador Tanmaya Lal got to try on glasses for AR and VR, among other things.
Ramin Karim and Uday Kumar sum up the visit as both rewarding and successful.
