Meet Hans Walloschke
Hans Walloschke divides his time between teaching at Luleå University of Technology and as a professional architect at the historic MAF Architects' Office here in Luleå.
One of the courses he is responsible for is the introductory course technical architecture which is given during the first half of the master's degree in architecture. Here, new students get an insight into what it can mean to work as an architect. One can, among other things, try to create drawings of existing buildings, design a new residential area together with other students and build buildings with CAD.

A large part of the course is spent trying to draw a residential building from scratch. During this process, one gets to experience many of the different aspects that need to be taken into account during the design process. Through several workshops during the course, you get many valuable tips and tricks from Hans about different solutions and what is important to think about.
