How does blue-green infrastructure contribute to health and recreation?
Within Luleå University of Technology's investment in future research areas, Godecke Blecken has been granted funding by PRECISE for the project "Which blue-green infrastructure implementation scenarios are best tailored to support public health?".
In this project, we will investigate which socio-economic values, i.a. in health and recreation can be created with blue-green infrastructure (BGI). We will evaluate different BGI scenarios for case studies in Malmö and Östersund.
The project is based on a previous project that has been reported in SVU report 2020-12 (What benefits can blue-green infrastructure contribute?). Godecke Blecken, Maria Viklander and Kateryna Utkina work within the project.
