In the media: 200 million for research strengthens the region's position in global change

LKAB donates SEK 200 million to a newly formed foundation with the aim of promoting research and education at Luleå University of Technology, with a focus on sustainable mining.

- Luleå University of Technology has long been an extremely important hub for our technology development and for recruiting the expertise required for high-tech mining. Through the foundation, we contribute to strengthening the university in its role as a center for research and education of the competence that is crucial for us to succeed with the future investments that are now planned in Norrbotten, says Jan Moström, President and CEO of LKAB.
