In the media: TRIWA LIFE will be Europe's largest restoration project
Published: 23 September 2022
Sarah Conrad, Applied Geochemistry, has been granted 51 000 EUR within the EU project: The Torne River International Watershed LIFE, TRIWA LIFE.
In a new EU-funded project, the water environments in Torneälven's tributaries are to be improved on both sides of the border. The County Administrative Board in Norrbotten supports the project, which starts in March 2023 and will last for seven years. It will be the most comprehensive restoration of aquatic environments to date in Europe.
