Lecture at SOS | School of Sustainability
On November 9th Agatino Rizzo, professor in architecture at Luleå University of Technology, held a lecture in the SOS - School of Sustainability as a part of the lecture series on Environmental Design led by Emanuele Naboni.
Agatino's contribution to SOS students focused on "Co-creating the future resourceful city: participatory design methods and energy aesthetics in Sweden" as the energy transition opens new opportunities for rethinking the use of resources in architecture and urban design.
"In future cities, renewable energy will be an integral part of buildings, infrastructures, and urban space aesthetics. Design thinking and participatory planning methods will contribute to democratically empowering citizens in retrofitting their living environment" says Agatino.
During the lecture at SOS, he displayed and discussed case studies from his research projects at Luleå University of Technology.
