New projects financed by Formas

This year's call from Formas was successful for The Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering at Luleå University of Technology.

In addition, The Swedish Research Council has granted Lena Alakangas , professor of applied geochemistry, funds for a project to develop a joint research program between Ghana and Sweden to reduce the environmental and health effects of small-scale mining.

Ulrika Rova, professor in Biochemical Process Engineering, has also been granted funding from the Swedish Research Council for the project Upcycling of PET waste using a bioelectrochemical system (Upscale).
