ProcSIBE's annual results seminar together with the Swedish Transport Administration
Several researchers at the Division of Industrialized and Sustainable Construction have participated in ProcSIBE's annual results seminar together with the Swedish Transport Administration, which was held on 12th of October.
The seminar was held via zoom with 45 invited people participating. The 9 research projects that were presented and discussed during the seminar included a number of different themes such as innovation, sustainable development, collaboration, and management control.
"Our annual results seminar with the Swedish Transport Administration has now become a much-appreciated tradition and an important piece of the puzzle in the long and successful collaboration between ProcSIBE and the Swedish Transport Administration", says Per Erik Eriksson, professor at Industrialized and Sustainable Construction and responsible for ProcSIBE's research program together with the Swedish Transport Administration.
To increase the implementation possibilities of the research results, the researchers presented a wide range of valuable lessons learned and explicit recommendations that contributed to the rewarding and lively discussions that took place throughout the day, both orally after each presentation and in parallel in the zoom chat.
"The seminar is an important forum for knowledge sharing so that we researchers can contribute with research-based and practically applicable knowledge to promote the transition towards sustainable development in the construction industry " says Per Erik Eriksson.
