Bridge engineer of the year 2022 – Robert Hällmark

On Brobyggardagen 2023 in Gothenburg, Robert Hällmark, adjunct professor in Structural Engineering at Luleå University of Technology and senior technical specialist at Trafikverket, was chosen as bridge engineer of the year 2022.

Two students, Ingeborg Hjorth and Maria Sandlund, receive scholarships of SEK 25,000 each for the best thesis regarding mining operations and iron production from The Björn Wahlström's Foundation.

The division of Industrialized and sustainable construction, together with Norrbottens byggmästareförening, awarded scholarships to four outstanding students. The criteria for the scholarships were based partly on their master theses, but also the ability to act as a good ambassador for their respective education programme.
