Research
As part of the Cybersecurity Node North project, my focus lies on secure AI and its applications.
Current topics include federated learning, out-of-distribution detection, privacy-preservation and hyperdimensional computing. (this selection will expand as my PhD progresses)
If you use AI at your organisation / company and would be interested in a security-focused collaboration, feel free to contact me via the details above!
About me
I grew up in Germany but moved to the Netherlands for my Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University, Nijmegen and continued on to LTU for my Master's in Applied AI. For my Master's thesis project, I spent 6 months at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan.
While concluding my regular studies, I became interested in the PhD program at LTU and took up a position on cyber security with a focus on AI in November 2024.
Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, climbing and occasionally cycling.
