acting head Collaboration and Student recruitment

My main activities are to advice, educate and coordinate in matters of commercialization, collaboration and innovation.  The work is focused on a few key areas and visions. These are that LTU collaborate with the whole surrounding society in and active and clear way, that LTU is the regional hub for research-based knowledge, that students and staff have conditions to act entrepreneurially and innovatively, that innovations are made visible and used and finally that students and staff have ability to commercialize their results. The increasing demands for collaboration, innovation and exploitation to be integrated in the strategies and activities at the university leads to increased needs to coordinate activities in relation to these areas as well as to develop processes and methods to measure the success of initiatives. Therefore, collaboration and coordination with different departments at the university are central.
