Space invasion in Kiruna

Sweden's leading space scientists, representatives from the space industry and policymakers. All will gather in Kiruna in May, to attend Rymdforum – Sweden's largest meeting place for stakeholders in the space area.

– We have invested in space science in recent years, with a new round of the Graduate school in Space Technology and the recruitment of several internationally acknowledged professors. We believe in a greater interest in research and development in space-related fields. To succeed, it is important that stakeholders in the country work together. I see Rymdforum as an opportunity to deepen existing and initiate new collaborations, says Johan Sterte, Vice-chancellor at Luleå University of Technology.

Researchers and stakeholders

Rymdforum is held every two years by the NGO Rymdforum Sverige.

Luleå University of Technology is one of the sponsors of Rymdforum, which this year will be held 8-10 May in Kiruna.
