Visit from the Swedish Olympic Committee

Published: 21 October 2021

The Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) recently visited Luleå University of Technology. It was operations manager Peter Reinebo and sports and development manager Johan Flodin who got to see the plans in sports research at the university and hear about the operations in ski friction at the department of machine elements.

− It feels great that SOK visits us and takes part in our research in ski friction. It is important for us to get a receipt that we are on the right path, says ski doctoral student Joakim Sandberg and is supported by Gustav Hindér and Kalle Kalliorinne. Also doctoral students in machine elements connected to the newly started ski and snow lab.
