RIQAM (Radical Innovation and Qualification with Additive Manfacturing) is an industrial project with some of the largest companies in the Swedish space industry and Chalmers in Gothenburg. The project builds on the ongoing research on Product Innovation in Space Enhancement (AM), and the opportunities and challenges we identified.
The purpose of the project is to demonstrate the potential of AM for space applications. More specifically, the purpose is to identify changes in product development required to utilize AM, explore how qualification methods can be integrated into the product development process, as well as evaluate impacts from several aspects, including economic and business.
