Neeraj Sonalkar and Malte Jung, PhD Candidates at the Center for Design Research, Stanford University, gave a talk that was dedicated to a range of questions related to design team performance. What do teams do when they are engaged in breakthrough innovation? How do they go from ideas to products? How do they handle creative conflict? They presented a new perspective on studying team behaviors that are instrumental to breakthrough innovation. Starting with an overview of the research paradigm from the Center for Design Research at Stanford University, they presented two cases from their current research study to illustrate their approach.
