Dr. Claudia Eckert from Open University, UK was the opponent and the grading committee was composed of Prof. Staffan Sunnersjö, Jönköping University, Prof. Jan-Gunnar Persson, KTH and Dr. Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck, Linköping University.
Petter has conducted his research within the project called Robust Machining and his research focus has been within one of our research area called Knowledge Enabled Engineering. He has developed a framework for experience re-use on the basis of empirical studies in a close industrial setting. The opponent, Dr. Eckert, asked very deep and thorough questions about the knowledge as a concept and as an activity, ontologies and research methods. Petter did an impressive defence, that made his industrial supervisor Prof. Ola Isaksson proud. Petter will first take a couple of months on parental leave, but we are looking forward to a continued collaboration after that.
Once again – congrats and good luck, Petter!
