Research subjects and general syllabus

The Vice-Chancellor establish a research subject and decides on description of the subject. The application is examined on the basis of criteria stipulated by the Faculty Boards. In the general syllabus for each research subject there is a description of: contents and arrangements for that particular program; what entrance qualifications are required; and on what base the assessment of the applicant's ability to complete the program are founded. The Head of the Department proposes, after consultation with the Head of the subject, the general syllabus for third-cycle studies in the subject and the relevant Faculty Board establishes it.
