Here are the general syllabi for subjects within the humanities and social sciences, listed in alphabetical order. An approved general syllabus is a pre-requisite for admission of third-cycle students within a particular research subject.
Accounting and Control
The discipline includes accounting, finance, investment, cost-benefit analysis, and models for decision making and governance. Accounting includes both internal and external accounting. Governance refers mainly to financial control on strategic and tactical level. The discipline also covers the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of models for financial control.

Economics
- Economics concerns the study of how society can be organized to make efficient use of scarce resources. Research focuses on the economics of natural resources, energy and the environment. Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy encompasses and develops knowledge of human daily activities in relation to development processes, participation and health. Swedish and Education has its emphasis on research in relation to the school subject Swedish and to the content of the teacher education.
