DeepLearn 2022 Autumn is a recurring event, updating participants on the most recent advances in the critical and fast developing area of deep learning. At least 300 people are expected to attend physically here in Luleå. The target groups are graduate students, postgraduate students, and industry practitioners and they will attend short courses, lectures, and face to face interaction and networking. Renowned academics and industry pioneers will lecture and share their views with the audience.
– I am excited to see great colleagues from the largest Deep Learning research institutions and companies, as well as representatives from important related areas, says Marcus Liwicki.
– The event will attract stakeholders that want to educate new upcoming world-wide research elite in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Deep Learning is a branch of Artificial Intelligence, covering a spectrum of current frontier research and industrial innovation. Deep Learning provides efficient algorithms that can deal with large-scale data in a huge variety of environments, for example computer vision, neurosciences, speech recognition, language processing, and human-computer interaction. It can also be applied to areas such as health, drug discovery, health informatics, medical image analysis, mining, earth observation data, and finance and climate sciences.
Among the invited speakers are many high-profile researchers from all over the world, for example Wolfram Burgard, University of Freiburg, Tommaso Dorigo, Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics, and Shirley Ho, Flatiron Institute. There will also be top representatives from companies such as Apple, Amazon, Zoom, and Nvidia.
